Air drying clothes is the best way to dry them, even indoors

I live in Japan and the first thing I missed when I moved here was a clothes dryer. To me at that time, it seemed that air drying my clothes was a throwback to a time where I didn't live in and didn't really want to experience (I was going through culture shock at the time). Now though, I've been here almost ten years and when I think of all the energy I've saved after this long of air drying both indoors and outdoors, I feel that dryers are a big waste of not only energy but time.
