It is nice to hear that a lot of people are now in great deal with recycling activities they have. Bedding bags are one of the most useful things that some people think they may choose to dump, but it is more earth friendly to know the things that you can actually make used of. People should bare in mind, that there own simple act can actually do to help not only themselves, but the environment more importantly. Turning the airconditioning down has huge cost has energy saving benefits

I live in Japan where, in 2006, a plan was implemented called Cool Biz. This dictated that traditionally buttoned down office workers would forgo their necktie and jackets and offices wouldn't turn the AC lower then 28 degrees. This resulted in enormous cost and energy savings and the pilot year has been adopted as the norm. Now, after the disasters at the Fukushima plant and the foreseen energy outages in Tokyo, Cool Biz has been transformed into Super Cool Biz where office workers are urged to take an even more relaxed and breathable approach to office clothing. The government workers are the first to set the trend by coming in wearing Hawaiian shirts and khaki pants or shorts for example with AC rules upped to 30 degrees.

Making Use of Food Waste

Most people most especially the ones living in the urban areas seem to be so wasteful in the food they eat. But we all know how expensive foods are today. I think we should learn to find more ways on how to make use of the remains of food or other food waste. I may suggest some option like planting the roots and seeds of the vegetables remained, boiling fruit peels and cores for another recipe, or making your own garden at the backyard. Make something worthwhile out of these plants, and not just to throw them away.

Where does Frugality Fail?

I may say that I am a frugal person. I also accept that frugality has its own failures. It serves as a lesson for everyone who simply want to buy something cheap but with a low quality. It is still important to buy something that you can use well and something that is really necessary for you.
